  • There are EIGHT questions divided in TWO SECTIONS and printed both in HINDI and in ENGLISH.
  • Candidate has to attempt FIVE questions in all.
  • Questions no. 1 and 5 are compulsory and out of the remaining, any THREE are to be attempted choosing at least ONE from each section.
  • The number of marks carried by a question / part is indicated against it.
  • Answers must be written in the medium authorized in the Admission Certificate which must be stated clearly on the cover of this Question-cum-Answer (QCA) Booklet in the space provided.
  • No marks will be given for answers written in a medium other than the authorized one.
  • Word limit in questions, wherever specified, should be adhered to.
  • Attempts of questions shall be counted in sequential order.
  • Unless struck off, attempt of a question shall be counted even if attempted partly.
  • Any page or portion of the page left blank in the Question-cum-Answer Booklet must be clearly struck off.

(a) पोषकों की अनिवार्यता के मापदंड को सूचीबद्ध कीजिए । पादप पोषण में आवश्यक, लाभप्रद व क्रियात्मक तत्त्वों में क्या-क्या भिन्नताएँ पाई जाती हैं ? इन पोषक तत्त्वों को पादप किस प्रकार अवशोषित करते हैं ?
List out the criteria for essentiality of nutrients. Differentiate between essential, beneficial and functional elements in plant nutrition. How are these nutrient elements absorbed by the plants?

(b) मृदा उर्वरता व मृदा उत्पादकता में अन्तर स्पष्ट कीजिए । अच्छी कृषक मृदा के जैव पदार्थ अंश से आपका क्या अभिप्राय है ? इसकी वन मृदा के साथ तुलना कीजिए । मृदा जैव पदार्थ अंश को बनाए रखने व फ़सल उत्पादकता सुधारने के तरीके सुझाइए ।
Differentiate between soil fertility and soil productivity. What is meant by the organic matter content of good agricultural soil? Compare it with that of forest soil. Suggest ways to maintain soil organic matter content and improve crop productivity.

(c) सुदूर संवेदन व जी.आई.एस. से आप क्या समझते हैं ? कृषि व वानिकी के क्षेत्र में इनकी उपयोगिता का वर्णन कीजिए ।
