Q2. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತರಗಳು ನೇರ, ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಸರಳ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತವಾಗಿರಲಿ : 12×5 = 60 ಈಚಿನ ಹಲವು ಸಾವಿರ ವರುಷಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಮಾನವ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇವಲ ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದ. ನವ ಶಿಲಾಯುಗ (ನಿಯೋಲಿತಿಕ್ ಕಾಲ) ದಿಂದೀಚೆಗಷ್ಟೇ ಆತ ಬೇಸಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡ. ತನ್ನ ಆಹಾರ ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆ ಸುತ್ತಾಡುವ ಬದಲು ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರ ದಾಸ್ತಾನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ಆತನು ಭೂಮಿ ವ್ಯವಸಾಯದ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಗುಣತಕಕವಾದ ಇಳುವರಿ ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕಡಲಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡುವುದಾದರೆ, ಈಗಲೂ ಆತ ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನೇ. ಆತ ಮೀನು ಮತ್ತು ಬೇರೆ ಕಡಲ-ಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಕಡಲ-ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ಕೃಷಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ನಿರಂತರ ಸರಬರಾಜಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಏನೂ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಈವರೆಗೆ ಅಂತರ್ಜಲ ಬೇಟೆ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪೋಷಕಾಂಶದ ಪ್ರೋಟೀನ್ ತಂದಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ ಭೂಮಿ-ಕೃಷಿಯಿಂದ ಒದಗಿ ಬರುವ ಪ್ರೋಟೀನಿಗೆ ಇದು ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಆದರೆ ಕಡಲ-ಜೀವಿ ಆಹಾರದ ಇಳುವರಿ ಈಗ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಕಡಲ–ಜೀವಿ ಆಹಾರದ ಅಂತಸ್ಥ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಾದಿಸಲಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಡಲ–ಜೀವಿ ಕೃಷಿಯ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಬಗೆಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪೋಷಕಾಂಶ ಸಿಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ನಾಗಾಲೋಟದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಆತ ಕಡಲ-ಜೀವಿಗಳಿಂದ ಒದಗಿ ಬರಬಹುದಾದ ಪೋಷಕಾಂಶದ ಸರಬರಾಜು ಕೊನೆಗಾಣುವ ಅಪಾಯ ಇದೆ.
