Q2. താഴെ കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഗദ്യഭാഗം ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ വായിച്ചു് തുടർന്നു കൊടുത്തിട്ടുള്ള ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്കു് വ്യക്തവും സംക്ഷിപ്തവുമായ ഉത്തരമെഴുതുക : 12 × 5 = 60 അതിപ്രാചീനകാലത്തു് മനുഷ്യൻ ഭൂമിയുടെ കേവലം ചൂഷകനായിരുന്നു. നവീനശിലായുഗകാലം വരെ മനുഷ്യൻ കൃഷിയിൽ താല്പര്യമുള്ളവനായിരുന്നില്ല. ക്രമേണ പലേടത്തും അലഞ്ഞുതിരിയാതെ ഭൂമിയെ സംരക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു് മനുഷ്യൻ ഭക്ഷണം ഉണ്ടാക്കാനും വിതരണം ചെയ്യാനും തുടങ്ങി. ഒപ്പം കൃഷിയെ അഭിവൃദ്ധിപ്പെടുത്താനുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനം മനുഷ്യൻ തുടർന്നുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. ഇന്നു് മനുഷ്യനു് മണ്ണിൽനിന്നും കൂടുതൽ ഉല്പാദിപ്പിക്കാനും ആദായമെടുക്കാനും മുമ്പത്തേക്കാളേറെ കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. പക്ഷേ കടലിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം മനുഷ്യൻ പൂർണമായും ഒരു ചൂഷകൻ തന്നെയാണു്. മത്സ്യവും മറ്റുജലവിഭവങ്ങളും അവൻ കടലിൽനിന്നും സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അവയെ വളർത്താനും വേണ്ടനിലയിൽ വിതരണം ചെയ്യാനും മനുഷ്യൻ അല്പമാത്രമേ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നുള്ളു. സമുദ്രോല്പന്നവേട്ട മനുഷ്യനെ കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും പോഷകസമൃദ്ധമായ ഉല്പന്നവിതരണം മനുഷ്യനു് ചെയ്യാൻ കഴിയാതെ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. കരയിലെ മത്സ്യക്കൃഷിയിലൂടെ മാംസ്യത്തിന്റെ കുറവു് മനുഷ്യൻ പരിഹരിക്കുന്നു. ലോകജനസംഖ്യയുടെ വളർച്ച കടലിൽനിന്നുള്ള മാംസ്യാഹാരത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യകത വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. പക്ഷേ ലഭ്യത കുറഞ്ഞുമിരിക്കുന്നു. ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ വളർച്ചയ്ക്കനുസരിച്ചു് SDF-C-MLY 2
