Q2. مندرجہ ذیل اقتباسات کو غور سے پڑھئے اور درج شدہ سوالات کے جامع اور مختفر جواب لکھئے :
(a) گاندھی جی کی جانب دنیا کی قوجہ اس لئے میڈول ہوئی کیونکہ انہوں نے قوت وخٹی کے بجائے قوت ارادی کو اسلحہ کے طور پر فروغ دیا ، توہیں اور مشین گنوں کا متنابلہ کرنے کے لئے عدم تشدد کا سہارا لیا۔ گر قابل غور یہ امر بھی ہے کہ انہوں نے عدم تشدّد کا سہارا کیوں لیا؟ کیا اس لئے کہ وہ تشدّد کو ذریعہ بنا کر انگریزوں سے ہندوستان آزاد نہیں کروا تکتے تھے؟ یا اس لئے کہ وہ معاشرے کو یہ اخلاقی تعلیم دینا جاہتے تھے کہ انسان جب تک قوت وحثی کے آلات و ابزار استعال کرنے پر مجبور ہے وہ مردِ کامل کہلانے کا مستحق نہیں ہو سکتا؟ اول الامر ہے کہ عدم تشدّد کمزور اور لاحار لوگوں کا ذریعۂ دفاع ہے۔ مراد کہ توبیں ہمارے پاس نہیں ہیں تو ستیر کرہ ہی سی۔ گر دوسرا تناظر ہے کہ عدم تشدّد انسانی ارتقاء و ترقی کا ذریعہ بھی قرار پاتا ہے اور اس کی پاکیزگی ثابت کرنے کی شہادت بھی دیتا ہے۔ یہ حقیقت ہے کہ گاندھی جی کی قیادت میں ، انگریزوں کے خلاف لڑ رہے ہندوستانیوں کا خیال بھی لیی تھا کہ چونکہ ان کے پاس انگریزوں کا مقابلہ کرنے کے لئے لازم ذرائع موجود ٹمیں میں اس لئے انہوں نے عدم تحدّد کو ی بطور اسکھ اختیار کر لیا ہے۔ حالانکہ گاندھی جی اس تناظر کے قطعی قابل ٹبیں تھے۔ عدم تشدد تحنوا کر ہندوستان آزاد کرائے کے وہ بالکل حامی خیبی تھے۔ ہندوستانی آزادی ایک عظیم ہوف تھا کیکن اس سے ہوا مقصد انسانی فطرت میں تبدیلی لانا تھا۔ اس پیٹام کے ذریعہ انسانی معاشرہ کو یہ منتقد کرانا تھا کہ جن اہداف کی حصولی کی کوشش میں قوامی دخشی کے ابراز استعال سے جاتے ہیں اُنہیں کو انسانی اقدار ہے بھی حاصل کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
