(i) 10 एक विकेन्द्रीय पम्प जो कि इंजन चलित है का प्रश्नाव 10 ली./से. है तथा उसका स्थिर चुषण शीर्ष 15 (i) मीटर एवं प्रश्नाव शीर्ष 18 मीटर है । कुल शीर्ष ह्रास चूषण शीर्ष का 15 प्रतिशत है । यदि पम्प की दक्षता 60 प्रतिशत एवं इंजन की दक्षता 80 प्रतिशत हो तो इंजन की अश्व शक्ति की गणना कीजिये । 10 (iii) भूमिगत पाइपलाइन व्यवस्था के विभिन्न अव्ययों का स्वच्छ चित्र के साथ वर्णन कौजिये । 10 ¢ (iv) जल संवहन दक्षता, जल प्रयोग दक्षता, जल संग्रह दक्षता एवं जल वितरण दक्षता को परिभाषित करें एवं इन्हें ज्ञात करने के लिए सूत्र लिखिये । 10 Draw and explain typical characteristics curve of a centrifugal pump. (i) Discharge obtained from the centrifugal pump operated by engine was 10 litres (ii) per second. The Suction water table was 15 m and the pumping water level was 18 m from the ground. The total loss due to friction in pipes and accessories may be assumed to be 15 percent of total suction head. What should be the horse power required for lifting the water, if the pump efficiency is 60 percent and drive efficiency is 80 percent?

(a) Calculate the BHP of the engine required to drive the pump. (iii
(b) Describe the various components of underground pipeline system with the help of a neat diagram. (iv
