This JSON aggregates the 2024 Assistant Engineer (Civil) examination paper for the Irrigation & Water Resources Department, Haryana. Page 1 presents the formal header, time allowance (3 hours), maximum marks (150), total questions (18), and instructions (bilingual). Page 2 provides repaired problem statements for Q1–Q3, including a two-hinged parabolic arch thrust problem, a vibration problem for a cantilever rod, a propped cantilever with two loads, and a prestressed concrete beam stress analysis under live and dead loads. The objective questions are descriptive in nature, requiring detailed calculations and method rather than multiple-choice options. The SEO metadata consolidates topics such as structural analysis, vibrations, and prestressed concrete to enhance discoverability for Haryana state engineering recruitment resources. Image SEO entries are included for both pages to support media search results.

Questions (page 2)
Q2. Q.2 A). A mass of 15 kg has been attached at the free end of a cantilever mild steel rod of 16 mm diameter and 1 m length. It is displaced through 30 mm and released to vibrate. Determine system's undamped natural frequency. Take Modulus of elasticity of the rod as 200 GPa.
Q3. Q. 2 B). A propped cantilever beam of span 7 m carries one point load of 60 kN at 2 m from fixed support and another point load of 90 kN at 4 m from fixed support. Determine design plastic moment capacity of the beam using kinematic method.
Q4. Q. 3. A simply supported concrete beam with span 8 m is having a cross section 300 mm x 450 mm. It has been prestressed by means of 14 straight wires of 6 mm diameter located at 70 mm from the bottom of the beam and 6 straight wires of 6 mm diameter located at 60 mm from top of the beam. Assuming the prestress in the wires as 900 N/mm^2, calculate the resultant stresses at the extreme fibres of the mid-span section. Consider uniformly distributed live load of 5 kN/m is acting on the entire span as a live load. Take density of concrete as 24 kN/m^3.
