Q2. উত্তর সংক্ষেপে, স্পষ্ট ও শুদ্ধ ভাষায় লিখুন: 12×5 = 60 যখন একজন কৃষক মাঠে কাজ করে, সে খাদ্যশস্য এবং শিল্পের জন্য কাঁচামাল উৎপাদন করে । উৎপাদিত তুলা কাপড়ের কল ও পাওয়ার লুমগুলিতে কাপড়ে রূপান্তরিত হয় । যানবাহন এক জায়গা থেকে অন্য জায়গায় পন্য পরিবহন করে । আমরা জানি যে কোনো দেশে এক বছরে উৎপাদিত পণ্য ও পণ্য-পরিষেবার সামগ্রিক মূল্যকে সংশ্লিষ্ট দেশের মোট দেশীয় উৎপাদন বলা হয় । আমরা রপ্তানি করে অর্থ পাই আর আমদানির জন্য মূল্য পরিশেষ করি । আমরা দেখতে পাই যে এতে নিট আয় ইতিবাচক বা ঋণাত্মক বা শূন্য হতে পারে । যখন আমরা প্রাপ্ত উপার্জন যোগ করি তখন আমরা সেই বছরের জন্য সংশ্লিষ্ট দেশের মোট দেশজ উৎপাদন পাই। সামগ্রিক জাতীয় উৎপাদনে অবদান রাখে এমন সমস্ত কার্যক্রমকে আমরা অর্থনৈতিক কর্মকান্ড বলি । যারা অর্থনৈতিক কর্মকান্ডের সঙ্গে যুক্ত তাদেরকে আমরা শ্রমিক বলি, সে উচ্চ বা নিম্ন যে কোনো স্তরের কাজ হোক না কেন । অসুস্থতা কিংবা আঘাতজনিত কোনো শারীরিক সমস্যা, খারাপ আবহাওয়া, উৎসব অথবা সামাজিক ও ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠানের কারণে যদি তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ কাজে না আসতে পারে, তবুও তারা শ্রমিক হিসাবে বিবেচ্য । মুখ্য শ্রমিকের সঙ্গে সহযোগী হিসাবে যারা কাজে অংশগ্রহণ করে তারাও শ্রমিক হিসাবে বিবেচিত হয় । শ্রমের বিনিময়ে নিয়োগ কর্তার কাছ থেকে যারা পারিশ্রমিক পেয়ে থাকে সাধারণ ভাবে আমরা তাদেরকে শ্রমিক বলি । কিন্তু এটাই সব নয় । যারা স্বনির্ভর তারাও শ্রমিক । ভারতে কাজের প্রকৃতি বহুমুখী । কিছু মানুষ কাজ পায় সারা বছর ধরে, কিছু মানুষ পায় বছরের কয়েক মাস মাত্র । অধিকাংশ শ্রমিক তাদের শ্রমের যথাযথ পারিশ্রমিক পায় না । অর্থনৈতিক কর্মকান্ডের সঙ্গে যারা যুক্ত, শ্রমিকের সংখ্যা নির্ণায়ক পরিসংখ্যানে তারা সবাই চাকুরে মানুষের শ্রেণিতে পড়ে । 2011 - 12 সালে ভারতে শ্রমশক্তির পরিমাণ অনুমান করা হয়েছিল প্রায় 473 মিলিয়ন । যেহেতু দেশের অধিকাংশ মানুষ গ্রামীণ এলাকায় বসবাস করে, তাই গ্রামীণ কর্মশক্তির অনুপাত শহুরে কর্মশক্তির চেয়ে বেশি । 473 মিলিয়ন শ্রমিকের তিন চতুর্থাংশ হল গ্রামের মানুষ । পুরুষেরা ভারতে কর্মশক্তির সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ । যেখানে গ্রামীণ সামগ্রিক কর্মশক্তির এক তৃতীয়াংশ মহিলা শ্রমিক, সেখানে মাত্র কুড়ি 20 শতাংশ নাগরিক মহিলা কর্মশক্তিতে অবদান রাখে । রান্না করা, পানীয় জল আনা, জ্বালানি সংগ্রহের পাশাপাশি মহিলারা মাঠে কাজ করে । তারা নগদ বা খাদ্যশস্য আকারে মজুরি পায় না । অনেক ক্ষেত্রে কিছুই পায় না । এই কারণে এই সমস্ত মহিলারা শ্রমিকের শ্রেণিতে অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয় না । অর্থনীতিবিদরা বলেছেন এই মহিলাদেরও শ্রমিক হিসাবে বিবেচনা করা উচিত। SKYC-C-BNGL 2
