  • Candidate has to attempt FIVE questions in all.
  • Question Nos. 1 and 5 are compulsory and out of the remaining, THREE are to be attempted choosing at least ONE question from each Section.
  • The number of marks carried by a question/part is indicated against it.
  • Answers must be written in URDU (Urdu script).
  • Word limit in questions, wherever specified, should be adhered to.
  • Attempts of questions shall be counted in sequential order.
  • Unless struck off, attempt of a question shall be counted even if attempted partly.
  • Any page or portion of the page left blank in the Question-cum-Answer Booklet must be clearly struck off.

Q1. حب ذیل سوالوں کے جواب لکھئے۔ ہر سوال کا جواب تقریباً ایک سو پچاس (150)الفاظ یہ مشتل ہونا جایئے :

(a) اردو زبان کی ابتدا اور اس کے ارتقائی مراحل پر روشیٰ ڈالئے۔

(b) وسطی ہند آربائی کے مختلف اُدوار کا جائزہ لیجئے۔

(c) ’’ اردو پر برج ، پنجابی اور دیگر بولیوں کے اثرات یائے جاتے ہیں‘‘ اس قول کی وضاحت کیجیے۔

(d) اردو زبان کی اصلاح کے سلسلے میں جو کوششیں کی گئی ہیں ان کا جائزہ کیجے۔

(e) قدیم ہند آرپائی دَور کی مخلف بولیوں اور زبانوں پر اظہارِ خیال کیچیے۔

(a) ’’ محمد حسین آزاد نے اردو کے ابتدائی نقوش کو برج بھاشا میں ملاش کیا ہے۔‘‘ آپ ان کی اس کوشش سے کس حدیجک انفاق رکھتے ہیں؟ مال لکھیے۔

(b) اردو کی ابتداء سے متعلق مخلف نظریات کی وضاحت کیجیے۔

(c) اردو رسم خط کی خوبیاں بیان کیچیے اور بتائیے کہ دیگر زبانوں کی روشی میں کیا کچھ تبدیلی درکار ہے۔

(a) ملا وجہی کے شعری و نثری غدمات کا احاطہ کیجیے۔

(b) ولی دکنی کی شاعری پر ایک مضمون لکھئے یا دکنی شاعری کے ابتدائی خد و خال واضح کھیجئے۔

(c) دکن میں اردو شاعری پر مضمون لکھتے ہوئے داضح کیچئے کہ کس طرح دکنی شاعری نے شالی ہند کی اردو شاعری کو متاثر کیا۔
