Q2. হয়েছে তার উত্তর সংক্ষেপে, স্পষ্ট ও শুদ্ধ ভাষায় লিখুন : 12x5 = 60 জীববৈচিত্র্য হল বিশ্বের জীবিত প্রজাতির বিভিন্ন ধরন, যাতে তার বংশগতি সংক্রান্ত ভিন্নতা এবং তার দ্বারা তৈরি হয় পরিবেশতন্ত্রের গোষ্ঠী। জীবনের এই বৈচিত্র্য বর্তমানে ভয়ঙ্কর বিপদের সম্মুখীন । বৈজ্ঞানিকরা এ ব্যাপারে সহমত যে আগামী এক-চতুর্থাংশ শতকে ক্রান্তিয় বনভূমির ক্ষতি এবং অস্থিরতার কারণে পাঁচ থেকে দশ শতাংশ ক্রান্তিয় বনভূমির প্রজাতি হারিয়ে যাবে। প্রজাতি বিলুপ্ত হওয়ার সংকট শুধু ক্রান্তিয় বনভূমির মধ্যেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়, নদী অবরুদ্ধ হওয়া এবং জলে বিদেশি প্রজাতি আসার ফলে নাটকীয় ভাবে বদলে যাচ্ছে মিঠা জলের জীববৈচিত্র্য । মহাসাগরীয় দ্বীপ, যেখানে বিগত কয়েক হাজার বছরে অধিকাংশ জীবের বিলুপ্তি ঘটেছে – আর এখানেই রয়েছে পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে বেশি বিপদাপন্ন পরিবেশতন্ত্র। প্রজাতি, জীববৈচিত্র্য ও পরিবেশতন্ত্রের ভয়ঙ্কর ক্ষতি প্রজন্মের পর প্রজন্ম ধরে এর মূল্য দিতে বাধ্য থাকবে। আজ যে প্রজাতি লুপ্তপ্রায় এক সময় তারও ছিল অজানা খাদ্য, চিকিৎসা ও শিল্পসমূল্য । পরিবেশতন্ত্র জনসংখ্যা সংরক্ষণে নিজের ক্ষমতা হারিয়ে ফেলছে এবং তার ক্ষতির কারণে হচ্ছে ভূমিক্ষয়, জলের লবণাক্তকরণ, স্থানীয় জলবায়ুর পরিবর্তন, মরুকরণ ও উৎপাদন ব্যবস্থার ক্ষতিসাধন। জীবসম্পদের মূল্য নির্ধারণের জন্যে রয়েছে তিনটি প্রধান প্রয়োগকৌশল। উপভোগের ব্যবহারিক মূল্যে যুক্ত রয়েছে সম্পদের মূল্য নিরূপণ। যেমন – জ্বালানি কাঠ, গবাদি পশুর খাদ্য ও শিকার করা মাংস যা বাজার থেকে না নিয়ে সরাসরি গ্রহণ করা হয় । উৎপাদনের ব্যবহারিক মূল্যের সঙ্গে জড়িয়ে রয়েছে বস্তুর মূল্য নির্ধারণ যা বাণিজ্যিক ভাবে উৎপন্ন হয় এবং বাজারে বিক্রি হয় । যেমন – কাঠ, মাছ, মাংস, মধু ও ভেষজ উদ্ভিদ। উপভোগহীনতার মূল্যের সঙ্গে জড়িয়ে রয়েছে পরিবেশতন্ত্র পদ্ধতির প্রত্যক্ষ মূল্য। যেমন – জলাধার সংরক্ষণ, সালোক-সংশ্লেষ, জলবায়ু নিয়ন্ত্রণ ও ভূমিজ উৎপাদন। আর তার সঙ্গে জড়িয়ে থাকা নির্দিষ্ট প্রজাতিদের জীবিত থাকার জ্ঞানজনিক আনন্দ। SLPM-C-BNGL
