“टीपू सुल्तान मैसूर में, महत्त्वाकांक्षी भूभागीय इरादों वाला, एक शक्तिशाली केन्द्रीकृत एवं सैन्यीकृत राज्य के निर्माण का प्रयास कर रहा था।"
