  • इसमें आठ प्रश्न हैं जो दो खण्डों में विभाजित हैं तथा हिन्दी एवं अंग्रेजी दोनों में छपे हैं।
  • उम्मीदवार को कुल पाँच प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने हैं।
  • प्रश्न संख्या 1 और 5 अनिवार्य हैं तथा बाकी प्रश्नों में से प्रत्येक खण्ड से कम-से-कम एक प्रश्न चुनकर तीन प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए।
  • प्रत्येक प्रश्न/भाग के अंक उसके सामने दिए गए हैं।
  • प्रश्नों के उत्तर उसी प्राधिकृत माध्यम में लिखे जाने चाहिए, जिसका उल्लेख आपके प्रवेश-पत्र में किया गया है, और इस माध्यम का स्पष्ट उल्लेख प्रश्न-सह-उत्तर (क्यू० सी० ए०) पुस्तिका के मुखपृष्ठ पर निर्दिष्ट स्थान पर किया जाना चाहिए।

  • There are EIGHT questions divided in two Sections and printed both in HINDI and in ENGLISH.
  • Candidate has to attempt FIVE questions in all.
  • Question Nos. 1 and 5 are compulsory and out of the remaining, THREE are to be attempted choosing at least ONE question from each Section.
  • The number of marks carried by a question/part is indicated against it.
  • Answers must be written in the medium authorized in the Admission Certificate which must be stated clearly on the cover of this Question-cum-Answer (QCA) Booklet in the space provided.
  • No marks will be given for answers written in a medium other than the authorized one.
  • Assume suitable data, if considered necessary, and indicate the same clearly.
  • Unless otherwise mentioned, symbols and notations carry their usual standard meanings.
  • Attempts of questions shall be counted in sequential order.
  • Unless struck off, attempt of a question shall be counted even if attempted partly.

(a) एक बन्द-पाश तन्त्र नीचे चित्र में प्रदर्शित है। तन्त्र के लिए अधिकतम सहसावृद्धि (ओवरशूट) 40% तथा शिखर समय 2 सेकंड है। J = 1 kg-m2 मानते हुए A तथा B के मानों की गणना कीजिए :
A closed-loop system is shown in the figure below. The maximum overshoot for the system is 40% and the peak time is 2 seconds. Calculate the values of A and B. Consider J = 1 kg-m2 :

(b) नीचे प्रदर्शित तन्त्र के लिए नाइकिस्ट आलेख आरेखित कीजिए। नाइकिस्ट स्थिरता मानदण्ड प्रयोग करते हुए K की वह परास ज्ञात कीजिए, जिसके लिए तन्त्र स्थिर है। मान लीजिए कि K in mathbb{R} (वास्तविक अंकों का समुच्चय) है :
Draw the Nyquist plot for the system shown below. Using Nyquist stability criterion, determine the range of K for which the system is stable. Assume K in mathbb{R} (set of real numbers) :

(c) सूक्ष्म-संसाधक 8085 के लिए संभाव्य यंत्र चक्र (मशीन साइकिल) तथा घटिका चक्र (T-स्टेट्स) समाहित करते हुए एक अनुदेश चक्र प्रदर्शित कीजिए। यदि संसाधक 3 MHz पर कार्यरत है, तो एक अनुदेश के लिए न्यूनतम तथा अधिकतम संभव कार्यान्वयन समय की गणना कीजिए।
Show an instruction cycle with possible machine cycles and clock cycles (T-states) in it, for the microprocessor 8085. If the processor is working at 3 MHz, calculate the minimum and maximum possible execution time for an instruction.

(d) एक कुण्डली की वितरित संधारिता के समानान्तर 100 pF का संधारित्र जोड़कर इसे 10 MHz पर अनुनादित किया जाता है तथा पुनः 16 pF के संधारित्र के साथ इसकी दोगुनी आवृत्ति पर अनुनादित किया जाता है। कुण्डली की समतुल्य वितरित संधारिता तथा प्रेरकत्व के मान की गणना कीजिए।
The distributed capacitance of a coil is resonated at 10 MHz with 100 pF in parallel and is then again resonated at twice the frequency with 16 pF. Calculate its equivalent distributed capacitance and the inductance of the coil.
