Q2. A BJT has lpha = 0. 99, i_B = 25 mu A and I_{CBO} = 200 nA. Find—
(i) the d. c. emitter current;
(ii) the d. collector current;
when leakage current is neglected.

Q3. For R-L-C circuit shown in Fig. 2, the all initial conditions are zero. Determine the nature of voltage across the capacitor if switch is closed at t = 0.

Q4. Find the electric potential at a point on the axis of a uniformly charged circular disc whose surface charge density is sigma.

Q5. A 3-¢, Y-connected cylindrical synchronous generator, rated at 10 kVA, 230 V, has a synchronous reactance of 1.20 Omega per phase and an armature resistance of 0-5 Omega per phase. Calculate the percent voltage regulation at full-load with 0.8 power factor lagging.

Q6. With respect to the rotor,
(iii) speed of the rotor magnetic field with respect to the stator field.
(iv) speed of the rotor magnetic field with respect to the rotor,
(v) speed of the rotor field with respect to the stator field.
