  • There are EIGHT questions divided in TWO SECTIONS and printed both in HINDI and in ENGLISH.
  • Candidate has to attempt FIVE questions in all.
  • Question Nos. 1 and 5 are compulsory and out of the remaining, THREE are to be attempted choosing at least ONE question from each Section.
  • The number of marks carried by a question/part is indicated against it.
  • Answers must be written in the medium authorized in the Admission Certificate which must be stated clearly on the cover of this Question-cum-Answer (QCA) Booklet in the space provided.
  • No marks will be given for answers written in a medium other than the authorized one.
  • Word limit in questions, wherever specified, should be adhered to.
  • Attempts of questions shall be counted in sequential order.
  • Unless struck off, attempt of a question shall be counted even if attempted partly.
  • Any page or portion of the page left blank in the Question-cum-Answer Booklet must be clearly struck off.

Q1. Answer the following questions in about 150 words each :
निम्नलिखित प्रत्येक प्रश्न का उत्तर लगभग 150 शब्दों में दीजिए :

(a) सामाजिक एकीकरण से क्या तात्पर्य है ? भारत में वर्तमान परिदृश्य में सामाजिक एकीकरण के प्रासांरिक धार्मिक समरसता कैसे प्रोत्साहित की जा सकती है ?
What is meant by social integration? How can religious harmony be promoted to attain social integration in the present scenario in India?

(b) मादक पदार्थों के दुरुपयोग से ग्रसित व्यक्तियों के पुनर्वासन में सामाजिक एजेन्सियों की भूमिका को प्रस्तुत कीजिए ।
Bring out the role of social agencies in the rehabilitation of persons suffering from substance abuse.

(c) 'दूरदर्शन और जन संचार माध्यमों के द्वारा मूल्य प्रोत्साहित नहीं किए जा सकते’। इस अभिकथन का समालोचनात्मक मूल्यांकन कीजिए ।
'Values cannot be fostered through TV and mass media'. Critically evaluate the statement.

(d) काँच वितान प्रभाव क्या है ? उन कारकों की उदाहरणों के सहित विवेचना कीजिए जिन्होंने कुछ महिलाओं को इस काँच वितान को भंग करने में सुसाध्य किया ?
What is meant by glass ceiling effect ? Discuss the factors that facilitated some women to break this glass ceiling. Illustrate with some examples.

(e) एक दूरस्थ ग्राम में महिलायें विकास सम्बन्धी लाभों से वंचित रही हैं। आप क्या क़दम सुझायेंगे ताकि महिलायें उनसे लाभान्वित हो सकें ?
Women in a remote village have been deprived of development related benefits. What steps would you suggest to enable women to take advantage of these benefits ?

(c) शैक्षिक व्यवस्था में मनोवैज्ञानिक परीक्षण के प्रमुख उद्देश्यों को बताइए तथा मनोवैज्ञानिक परीक्षण शिक्षकों व शिक्षार्थियों दोनों को जिन तरीकों से सहायता करते हैं उनकी विवेचना कीजिए।
